Spiritual Conversation 2025

The Revd Dr John Russell is Spirituality Lead at the LJC. Previously, he worked as a Human Rights Lawyer and university lecturer. He is an accredited teacher of trauma-aware yoga, with specialist qualifications in breath-work and addiction recovery. His favourite modes of transport are bicycle and kayak.

Rosie Pike became interested in Ignatian spirituality ten years ago, and later trained as a spiritual director through the Ignatian Spirituality course. Before then she was a lay pastor for many years in a small evangelical church in Southwest London. She divides her time between spiritual direction and training, voluntary work in her local church and community and anti-knife crime initiatives in her local area. She has studied theology, biology, bereavement counselling and nursing.

Mary Goggin is a member of the extended spirituality team at the London Jesuit Centre where she facilitates courses and offers spiritual accompaniment. She is from Ireland and has lived in London for the past forty years. She enjoys walking and wine.

Siobhan is a member of the Spirituality Team at St Bede’s Pastoral Centre in York, where she is involved in running courses in Ignatian spirituality, and training people in spiritual accompaniment. She previously studied theology at Durham University.
