Stephen Hoyland has been a teacher, a chaplain and is now a spiritual director working with the Jesuits. He was on the team at Loyola Hall where he begin to develop an outreach mission to young adults, mostly in university settings. He leads weeks of guided prayer in chaplaincies especially, and also parishes and in other settings. He also guest directs at St Beuno’s and is a Trainer. When not working Stephen weeds his garden in Lancaster where he is married to Kate. He is married to her in other places too. In this photo he is looking forward to dangling his tired feet in that tarn, which he did do, and it was delightful.
